Just a few weeks ago, we welcomed RS-R to our facility and enjoyed an intensive training learning more about their product line, including their coilover shocks and lowering springs. Here are a few things we learned.

- Half Down Sus Lowering Springs – With 20-40% increased spring rate and a conservative drop height, these coilover springs are ideal for up to a 1/2 inch drop.
- Down Sus Lowering Springs – Characterized by an increased spring rate of 30-50% and known for its moderate drop height of approximately 1 inch. It’s no wonder the RS-R Down coilover springs are RS-R’s best-selling line
- Superdown Sus Lowering Springs – With a 40-60% spring rate, the RS-R Superdown springs offer RS-R’s maximum drop height and are ideal if you’re looking for a slammed look.

Like their springs of their shocks are constructed from high grade metals sourced from top Japanese metal providers. From there their team develops a vehicle specific valve set up, uses advanced laser cutting techniques to shape their upper mounts, hand welds their lower brackets and hand assembles each coilover in RS-R’s Japan headquarters.
