Magnaflow Camaro SS Exhaust Systems
Add Growl and Bark to the Camaro SS with Magnaflow Exhaust Solutions
The 2016+ Chevrolet Camaro SS enjoys the benefit of its 6.2L LT1 engine producing 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft torque, all in a chassis that is 200 lbs. lighter than the previous model. But, as with most factory vehicles, the ferocity is muffled and sometimes even muzzled. The exhaust system is one of the variables that can be upgraded to unleash the fury of the V8.
Magnaflow’s Cat-back Competition Exhaust (p/n 19339) features an X-pipe and dual twin-tip mufflers. This stainless-steel exhaust features 4-inch piping.
MagnaFlow released three variants of its stainless-steel Camaro exhaust solution. While each system helps to reduce weight, each accomplishes a different objective. The axle-back competition exhaust (p/n 19339) features 3-inch piping, retains the factory B-pipes and replaces the factory muffler sections with MagnaFlow’s proprietary design. This offers a more aggressive tone without replacing the B-piping. The cat-back competition exhaust (p/n19265) includes an X-pipe and axle-back mufflers manufactured from 4-inch piping. This system reduces back pressure and offers an X-pipe configuration feeding into the axle-back muffler sections. This X-pipe helps to balance the exhaust pulses between the left and right cylinder banks to ensure a steady and uniform exhaust flow. The axle-back race exhaust (p/n 19338) eliminates the mufflers altogether and replaces them with polished 3-inch piping that connect to the factory B-pipes that terminate with 4-inch polished exhaust tips.
The Magnaflow Axle-back Race exhaust (p/n 19338) features 3-inch mandrel bent stainless-steel piping that terminate with a pair of polished 4-inch exhaust tips.
MagnaFlow Exhausts enjoy a host of features and benefits, including:
- Limited Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects
- Dyno tested products proven to make power
- Performance gains in both horsepower and torque
- Competition Series: Aggressive Exhaust Note, Reduced System Mass
- Race Series: Most Aggressive Exhaust Tone, Muffler-less Design

When you hear the phrase, “exhaust system,” MagnaFlow is a name that instantly comes to mind. At this point, the words have become practically synonymous with one another. Over the past 30 years, MagnaFlow has earned the reputation as being one of the most preeminent exhaust manufacturers in the world. It strives to consistently produce some of the best sounding, performing, and most durable exhaust products on the market. As such, we here at STILLEN are proud to announce that our very own Jospeh Tu has had a hand in helping MagnaFlow continue to fulfill this mission. MagnaFlow has recently announced an upcoming lineup 2016 Chevy Camaro exhaust systems, with Tu’s 2016 Camaro SS serving as one of the developmental vehicles that helped it all come together!
Let the Power Flow Through You
Sporting a loud, rumbling 6.2L V8 producing 455 HP, the new 2016 Chevy Camaro SS is already a more-than-capable machine from the factory. The power, sound, and performance of the new Camaro is sure to put a smile on its driver’s face every time he or she takes the car out for a spin. However, our friends over at MagnaFlow – as they always do – wanted to take things one step further (and make that smile just a little bit wider) with their new lineup of 2016 Chevy Camaro exhaust systems. The systems come in either cat-back or axle-back variants for both the 6.2L V8 and 3.6L V6 versions of the car. However, all of the exhaust systems are constructed out of stainless steel and feature a polished tip finish. Each system has also been dyno tested and proven to offer performance gains in both horsepower and torque, all while offering MagnaFlow’s lifetime construction warranty.
Street King or Track Day Hero?
Depending on your driving needs, there is a choice of either the “Competition” or “Race” series for each 2016 Chevy Camaro exhaust system. If you’re looking for an excellent driver for the streets, the Competition Series features an aggressive exhaust note and a reduced system mass. On the other hand, if you’re looking to possibly track your Camaro, the Race Series offers a muffler-less design and emits – as described by MagnaFlow itself – the “most aggressive race car sound”. Either way, you really can’t go wrong with whatever series you choose.
