As you can see from the photo above, this SEMA bound 2009 370Z includes a long list of sleek, aftermarket upgrades. “The entire team here at STILLEN is very excited about this Infiniti Q50 project. For the past year STILLEN has been developing numerous parts for these great cars and this car represents a rolling catalog of just about everything that we offer for the Infiniti Q50. Our team carried out the STILLEN philosophy of looking at the entire car as a finished package. Starting with the exterior styling and moving into the car with the Q50 supercharger and STILLEN Q50 cat-back exhaust system, pushing power well into the 400 range. With all of this additional power we had to install one of our AP Racing by STILLEN big brake kits. To finish off the car we contacted our friends at Air Rex and installed one of their incredible air ride systems.  This is a very trick setup that really sets the car apart! Now with the car sitting lower and the big brakes installed we had to get the car finished off with the new Vossen VFS1 20″ wheels wrapped in Nitto Invo tires. This combination continues the luxury performance theme of the entire car.”

When asked about STILLEN’s new carbon fiber division, Millen had this to say, “For decades STILLEN has manufactured all of our products in-house with specialized divisions for manufacturing, metal fabrication, CNC machine shop and poly-urethane body kits. We have now decided to add an in-house carbon fiber manufacturing facility.  We are very excited about this and look forward to releasing more carbon fiber in the very near future.” As it gets closer to SEMA, be sure to check back here for more information on these brand new parts!

Fresh off the dyno at the STILLEN performance shop, we snuck a glance at a 2013 370Z Nismo that just got a STILLEN supercharger installed. Wow, does it look good on those Bronze Burst Forgestar F14 wheels, paired with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 Tires, and it can really make the power!

As a the370z.com forum participant, he knew that his first stop should be STILLEN. As soon as we got his car in the shop, our experts went right to work on the supercharger install.

Want More Power? Get a STILLEN Exhaust!

After the install was complete, we put the 370z on the dyno to see how much power it was making. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite what the owner was looking for. To get a bit more, our experts suggested he try a STILLEN 370Z cat-back exhaust (504355). As soon as the exhaust was installed, we got the car back up on the dyno and it started churning out the power… 404 HP (rear wheel) and 294 ft/lbs torque!

The Specs:

370Z Nismo Supercharger:

Specially designed for the Nissan/Infiniti VQ37 engines, the 50-state legal STILLEN supercharger features an air to water intercooler system.  This helps ensure the air is cool before it enters the engine. Plus, the heat exchanger is front mounted, so it does not block air flow to the radiator, transmission and other vital coolers. Last, but not least, the STILLEN 370Z Nismo supercharger also features a redesigned intake manifold that comes with an increased runner length for increased torque.

370Z Nismo Exhaust:

This 304 stainless steel dual exhaust was designed specifically for the Nissan 370Z and allows the engine to really breath. Thus allowing us to find hidden power for our customers to enjoy! This cat-back exhaust also comes with 4.5” polished tips and features an incredible, aggressive tone under acceleration. Plus, it’s CARB EXEMPT and 50-state legal!

While we have a strong racing heritage here at STILLEN, it’s not as well known that we also have an appreciation for drift cars. STILLEN founder, Steve Millen and the Millen family have quite the history hooning RWD cars before we ever called it ‘drifting’. Steve Millen and his brother, Rod Millen, were actually some of the first to drift on national TV with their 1989 Nissan 240SX TV commercial, and later Rod’s son, Rhys Millen, was one of the first professionals Drifting in the USA. As most brothers tend to be, Steve and Rod have always been very competitive, even having raced professionally against each other, which makes the title “Me and My Shadow” especially fitting.

Quantum Auto Sport’s Drifter 370Z Supercharger Install

With this history at STILLEN, you can imagine our excitement when we heard one of our vendors, Quantum Auto Sport, was installing a STILLEN supercharger on 370Z drift car. We have a long history with Quantum Auto Sport and they are one of our premier supercharger installers in Europe. Their team has actually installed most of the STILLEN 350Z superchargers in Germany and are Uprev Pro Dealers, so it’s great to see them continuing the tradition with the 370Z. Even with such a long history of working together, it’s always exciting to know that another STILLEN supercharger will be tearing up the streets overseas.

As you can see, 370Z drifter is making a ton of power with its new STILLEN supercharger – even enough to move the suction pipe (approximately minute 0:48)! The results of the dyno showed that the 370Z drifter made 460 horsepower with the STILLEN supercharger kit installed. Now, we can’t wait to see the video of this 370Z drifting after the supercharger install!

STILLEN is proud to announce that all current production STILLEN superchargers have achieved CARB Exempt EO status through 2014!  For many years, STILLEN has been recognized as the leader in NISSAN/INFINITI performance products and we continue our commitment by continuing to invest in tuning these fine vehicles. Our dedication to the NISSAN/INFINITI vehicles and the pride we have for the parts we manufacture for them shines through with this latest accomplishment.  The new CARB exemption order numbers (EO # D-426-19 and EO# D-436-20) cover all single and dual throttle body supercharger systems for the VQ35, VQ35HR, VQ37, VQ40 and VK56 engines.

Not only is STILLEN the only company to offer CARB exempt performance parts for these vehicles, but STILLEN is the only company in the world to achieve CARB Exempt EO Status when tuning through the factory ECU with larger fuel injectors.  In the past, the only way to achieve CARB Exempt status was with a piggyback ECU.

With the latest extension of CARB Exemption Order numbers, STILLEN is also excited to announce the extension of the powertrain warranty programs already in place for these supercharger systems.  When you purchase your supercharger kit you have the option of adding a 3 year/36,000 mile powertrain warranty.  STILLEN is the only NISSAN/INFINITI tuner in the world to offer this with their supercharger systems.

Note: CARB (California Air Resources Board), a division of the California state government, is widely recognized as the strictest emissions control in the US and is recognized in all 50 states as an emissions standard for all performance parts. If a performance part achieves CARB legality, it is recognized as 50-state legal.

Good for 18.5WHP / 13WTQ Power Gain – CARB EXEMPT EO# D-436-22

Just announced… STILLEN cold air intakes for Nissan and Infiniti vehicles have been granted CARB EXEMPT EO#’s through 2014! For over 20 years, STILLEN has worked with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to develop products that are compliant with OE standards of total vehicle integration and performance while still satisfying emission control regulations. With this long history in mind, STILLEN is proud to announce the cold air intakes for the Infiniti Q50 and Q60 have been granted CARB EXEMPT Executive Order numbers. These numbers mean that the part has been shown not to alter or modify the design or performance of the factory emissions control equipment. While a typical aftermarket intake will automatically fail visual inspection, intakes with a CARB EO# will not fail a visual inspection, allowing the car to still be emissions tested as usual. STILLEN was the first company to prove that a cold air intake on the VQ37 engine could actually make power and is still recognized as the leading cold air intake with the highly sought after Generation 3 long tube cold air intakes for the 370Z, G37 and Q60.   It took 6 months of in-house R&D and testing and 56 different variations of prototype intake systems but it was all worth it and the end result was the leading cold air intake for the VQ37 equipped vehicles.
