When we got the announcement that they were making improvements to the CSF 370Z radiator, we were excited to see what changes were being made and we were not disappointed! With that, STILLEN is pleased to announce that we are taking pre-orders for the new CSF 370Z radiators.
New Improvements of the CSF 370Z Radiator
Building on the success of the previous radiator design, the new and improved CSF 370Z Radiator continues to be made of 100% aluminum to reduce the risk of cracking and to increase durability. Additionally, it will continue to fit the same as the OEM radiator. Thus, eliminating the need to move fittings, stretch hoses or drill additional holes to install the replacement radiator.
Improvements to the CSF 370Z radiator have been focused on making it more efficient and improving the cooling. Changes made to the CSF 370Z radiator for automatic transmission include reducing the 8mm fin height to 6.5mm. This allows the radiator to fit more tubes in the core and allow better heat transfer energy because there is more surface area contact between the fins and tubes. After these changes were made to the automatic transmission radiators, the radiator’s efficiency improved by up to 20%!
The CSF 370Z radiator for manual transmissions will be seeing similar improvements. However, in addition to the 6.5mm fin design, this radiator will also be changed to a 3 pass design for added efficiency.
