STILLEN is proud to release the final piece of the 2008-2009 Nissan Altima Coupe Body Kit, with the introduction of the urethane Altima Coupe Rear Corners Rear Corners.

STILLEN Altima Coupe Rear Corners

We just got the painted pieces back and immediately installed them on our test mule, and as you can see with the additional pictures below, the transformation is complete.

As with all STILLEN body components, these Altima Coupe Rear Corners are constructed from high quality extremely durable urethane, and are ready to be prepped and painted to match.

These rear corners are a perfect compliment to the STILLEN Side Skirts, and flow nicely with either the STILLEN Full Fascia or Lip Spoiler.

First, we’d like to thank all those who came out to STILLEN on 11/18 to see the new 2009 Nissan 370Z.  The car definitely got a workout with everyone climbing in, out and all over checking everything out and pushing every button.

Special thanks also goes to Nissan for making this vehicle available to us before the LA Auto Show this weekend. Below is some of the photos from the day, as well as some quick videos of the car.

And for those of you who asked (almost all).. the “weird black thing” in the center of the rear valance is the spot for the mandatory European fog light, but isn’t necessary for the U.S. so it’s simply blacked out.

EDIT:  Here are some interesting spec sheets and 350Z vs. 370Z comparison numbers we created for the mini-event.

We’ve been working so hard on the three vehicles we have going to SEMA (2009 Nissan Maxima, 2009 Infiniti G37 Coupe and 2008 Chevy Silverado.. more info to come on the other two builds soon), we’ve been a little laxed in our updates, and for that I apologize..

EDIT 11/08/08: View the STILLEN Maxima in the Nissan Booth at SEMA

So here’s the final info on the 2009 Nissan Maxima build:

STILLEN 2009 Nissan Maxima SEMA Car Progress Final

The Maxima has been completed, and is prepared for the transport leaving tomorrow to take this car into the Nissan booth at the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. For those of you attending, we hope you get a chance to stop in and see it.

Here is the gallery of images of the car just rolled out of the back of the warehouse, look for studio shots as soon as we can get it back from SEMA.

Car & Driver released their testing results on several Nissan GT-R’s they have had in their October 2008 article from their website.

Car & Driver Nissan GT-R Dyno

Excerpt from the online article:

On MotorCity Speed’s Mustang dyno in Commerce Township, Michigan, GT-R No. 4 produced a peak of 415 horsepower at the wheels. Based on our 20-percent loss estimate, the engine output was 519, or 39 horsepower more than Nissan’s stated 480.

They go on to state they felt this more accurately explains the testing results they’ve had against the Corvette Z06, where their test GT-R outran the Z06 in both 0-60 (3.3 vs. 3.4 seconds) and in the quarter mile (11.5 at 124 mph versus 11.8 at 125).

As a side note, it’s been our experience that Mustang dynos generally show lower horsepower numbers compared to other dynamometer companies, such as Dynojet, Dynapak, etc.

We have released the STILLEN 2007-2008 Altima Sedan Front Lip Spoiler, as well as the Side Skirts (Rockers).  The Lip Spoiler is an alternative to the complete Front Fascia which is also available.  The Side Skirts are a perfect match to either front treatment choice.

Altima Sedan Lip Spoiler & Side Skirts

These are constructed from high-quality urethane, ensuring OEM quality and a long life.  They feature a limited lifetime warranty against breakage or cracking during normal use for as long as you own your vehicle.  These pieces are raw urethane, ready to be primed and painted to match your vehicle.

Installation is a breeze, with 3M tape pre-installed on the pieces, hardware included, and detailed step by step instructions (lip spoiler / side skirts).  The side skirts will replace the OEM pieces, and the lip spoiler is a direct fitment over the OEM bumper cover.

Special thanks goes to NICO member Jose3.5 for coming down on several occasions for final fitments, and allowing us to get some preliminary photography.  Look for a vehicle to hit the photo studio soon for some more detailed pictures.

Nissan recently hosted their official Grand Opening and Dedication for their Corporate Headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee.  Nissan asked Steve Millen to be on hand for the festivities, including taking 25 lucky employees who had won an internal Nissan contest for a spirited ride in the new Nissan GT-R.

While at the event, Brian Sullivan from Fox Business sought out Steve to discuss the GT-R.  Check out the video of the interview below:
